The Connecticut Ride for the Cure® is proud to be an official event for the Connecticut Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Join us in northeastern Connecticut's "Quiet Corner", a place of gentle hills, endless fields, and colonial architecture...a place where life is slowed and where you have the time to appreciate the simple things.
Hidden in these hills, hosted by Tyrone Farm, a private cross-country equestrian course has been opened exclusively for this ride. The course leads you through farms, forests and beautiful country estates and will provide a relaxed trail ride and fences for the jumping enthusiast.
What better way to spend an autumn day than on your horse surrounded by beautiful countryside? And even better, riding for a cause that will, unfortunately, touch us all in some way. One in eight women in the United States is a victim of breast cancer. Thanks to the public's awareness and support for research, early detection now means a cure for many women. But much still needs to be done!
